Komatsu mid-size excavators have led the way for decades with their front running technology and innovation. If your goal is to lay pipe more precisely, cut through rocky hardpan or bale soil into haul trucks as fast as possible, Komatsu mid-size excavators will give you all you ask for and then some. Ask anyone who owns a Komatsu excavator, they’ll tell you better than we can about how reliable, powerful and profitable it is for him. It could be for you too.
A large capacity torque converter with lock-up gives Komatsu mid-size wheel loaders great tractive effort to power into the pile and fill the bucket to capacity, then quickly gain speed when maneuvering and climb up hills or ramps faster than previous models. Tier 4 interim Komatsu technology saves fuel and keeps these loaders working when competitive machines are stopped waiting for regeneration to take place.
Mid-size dozers need to be able to do it all. They need to be production tractors or fine graders when required. Using high production Sigma blades or inside mount six-way blades, these Komatsu dozers are versatile enough to accomplish those tasks and so much more. And now, built in intelligence is available so you can work flawlessly with leading GPS grade control systems.
Articulated Dump Trucks
Articulated trucks need the ability to go just about anywhere, through just about anything to do their job. Komatsu articulated trucks have that capability and do it with style. These Tier 4 Final trucks have Komatsu Traction Control which automatically engages the inter axle differential lock to prevent wheel spin and ensure optimal machine performance in soft ground conditions. The operator is center- located for a wide view of the work area ahead and a true training seat is just to the operator’s left.
The grader operator is generally the most experienced and skilled operator on the jobsite. And very often the grader operator also has the greyest hair. The unique features on Komatsu graders do three things; First, they make the good operator better with precise, excavator style hydraulics and no worries about ever causing the engine to stall; Second, the unique dual mode transmission makes it much easier for inexperienced operators to improve their technique and get good quickly; Lastly, the hydraulics integrate extremely well with the latest grade control system for precision operation.
